The 2nd edition contains photos in place of line drawings. In most cases, the line drawings have been replaced with the original photo from which the line drawing was constructed. Most readers will find that the photo replacements make Up the Lake, 2nd Edition a more enjoyable book to read.

Additionally, minor typographical and grammatical errors from the first edition have been corrected.
